These included:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cSee\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 think photography, screening, getting your eyes glued to the screen.<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cHear\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 that\u2019s music dingus!<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cTaste\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Foodie fun<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cTouch\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Hands on, getting that opposable thump working.<\/p>\n<p>Featured acts included Death Cab for Cutie, Excess Luggage, Residence A, Steve Mackay, and Qu Wanting (\u66f2\u5a49\u5a77). style=\"clear: both\" \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>As far as local acts go, there have been some interesting developments!<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACHUN (Pause Music)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2012 we worked with label PAUSE:MUSIC on a release party for their 5th full album entitled <em>On The Other Side,<\/em> presented by Macau\u2019s very own ACHUN. ACHUN is a Macanese electronic musician. His music style is deeply influenced by post-punk, shoegaze, and later, 140bpm Dubstep. ACHUN\u2019s debut album, <em>On The Other Side<\/em>, was a documentation of the impact sci-fi theory, conspiracies and occultism had on him.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.youku.com\/embed\/XNzA2MTE2NzAw\" width=\"510\" height=\"498\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>ACHUN dropped a new album in May called <a href=\"http:\/\/music.douban.com\/subject\/25860008\/\"><em>The Gloaming Time<\/em><\/a>. You can read more over on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udancecn.com\/News.aspx?id=10646\">uDance.cn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AM444<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This electro act was still pretty new in 2012 but now AM444 is all over the shop! 2014 has been a great year for AM444, which started with a bang &#8211; renowned French pop musician <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timeoutshanghai.com\/features\/Music-Listen_here\/16424\/AM444-get-remixed-by-M.html\">\u201cM\u201d( Matthieu Chedid) released a remix<\/a> of &#8216;Shenjing Moshao&#8217;, from their album <em>Eye Wonder<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the original version:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.youku.com\/embed\/XMjU0ODU0NjA0\" width=\"510\" height=\"498\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Their last major release was later in 2012 \u2013 it\u2019s called <em>Rooms<\/em>:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0; width: 350px; height: 470px;\" src=\"http:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=1777832834\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/am444.bandcamp.com\/album\/rooms\">Rooms by AM444<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rainbow Danger Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the staples of the Shanghai scene, Rainbow Danger Club are unfortunately no longer with us \u2013 they left for finer pastures.
